The Buderim Ginger Cooking School is a purpose built cooking school that brings people together in an ideal learning environment.  Combining the best of modern domestic kitchen design with a commercial touch, the Buderim Ginger Cooking School allows for relaxed, fun, fully interactive and professional instruction.

What’s been happening at The Buderim Ginger Cooking School?

June 2009

The Buderim Ginger Cooking School’s special events program featured “African Safari with Suzanne Quintner and Matilda Scarfe”

The class description was as follows:

Take an exotic journey north to south through the wonders of Africa with this special event.  Your hosts, Suzanne Quintner and Matilda Scarfe, bring together a lifetime of knowledge and skills to produce an authentic African banquet.  Pick up some new techniques and ideas as each dish is demonstrated by your hosts and then served for you to enjoy. All attendees take home product samples and recipes to help you produce this unforgettable menu at home.  Places are strictly limited and bookings are essential.  Don't Miss Out!

May 2009

The Buderim Ginger Cooking School was very excited to host the cast and crew of “The Great South East” for a special Sunshine Coast feature that went to air in May 2009.  Working with Laurel and the production crew was a pleasure and the relaxed, fun atmosphere during the day is easy to see in the segment. 

 

The Buderim Ginger Cooking School was also proud to present one of the famous “Food Trail” events for the Noosa Food and Wine Festival.  Special guests Geoff Lindsay and Philip Johnson joined forces with our own executive chef Andrew Strange in this showcase of fabulous local produce.

New this year is a ginger lovers dream come true! Travel by bus to Buderim Ginger at the amazing Ginger Factory in Yandina. Start off with a fabulous ginger cocktail and then jump aboard the “Ginger Train” for an exclusive tour.

Then return to the Ginger Factory Cooking School where resident chef Andrew Strange along with Philip Johnson and Geoff Lindsay will prepare a three course lunch with wine. Top off this trail with some delightful sweet treats at Belmondo’s Fresh Food Market in Noosaville.
